The aim of CSI XLII is to bring together researchers from all over the world working in the field of spectroscopy. The scientific program will focus on current advances in the research of different spectroscopic methods and their interdisciplinary applications. Scientists, engineers, students, and professionals will discuss, exchange ideas, foster interaction between industry and academy through building multidisciplinary linkages, and disseminate the most recent advancements in the field.
The 42th edition of CSI conference brings back to Spain this prestigious event after 19 years (CSI XIII, Granada, 2003) and it represents a historic forum among scientists presenting and discussion recent developments in fundamentals and applications in all branches of Spectroscopy (with special emphasis to analytical chemistry spectroscopy).
In the same dates, the GEAB research group of the University of Oviedo (local organizers of the CSI XLII) will also organize in the Congress Center of Gijon the “21st International Symposium on Bioluminescence and Chemiluminescence” and the “XIX International Symposium on Luminescence Spectrometry” 21st ISBC-XIX ISLS. The aim of this other joint conference is to bring together researchers from all over the world working in the field of bioanalytical photoluminescence, bioluminescence, chemiluminescence and related disciplines.
The participation of the constantly growing luminescence community in the CSI conference will have a positive impact on both conferences by stimulating synergism among participants, as well as the level of participation, since all participants will have the possibility to attend both events with a single registration.
