Online event transmitted from Brazil

The International Carbohydrate Symposium is an important biennial forum for researchers involved in all aspects of carbohydrates that was held in various locations around the world. Previous meetings generated PAC special issues divulgating the most recent findings covering carbohydrates in health and disease, in industry, food and cosmetics, and this trend will be followed with the proposal of a PAC special issue dedicated to ICS 2022. Due to the health crisis caused by the pandemic, ICS 2022 will be online.

There will be four parallel sections involving seven themes: Synthesis, Glycobiology, Carbohydrate Structure and Analysis, Carbohydrate Polymer and Material Sciences, New Developments in Glycoscience, Carbohydrates for Medicine and Diagnosis, Glycoconjugates and Vaccines
