The international conference ISBOC-12, the IUPAC’s International Symposium on Bioorganic Chemistry jointly conducted with the Shenzhen Symposium Chemical Biology will be held at Shenzhen, China, from 15-18 December 2019.
The ISBOC series of meetings was inaugurated in 1986 in New York by Ronald Breslow and has moved around the world at approximately three year intervals. ISBOC symposia have been held in places like Biarritz (France), Pune (India), Sheffield (England), Toronto (Canada), Beijing (China), Torino (Italy) and Konstanz (Germany). ISBOC-12 cohosted by the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Oncogenomics, the Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, Peking University and Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology is the first meeting in Shenzhen, one of the most innovative cities in China.
The ISBOC symposium series aim at enhancing the scientific communication among global investigators in chemical biology and promoting the development of molecular biosciences (bio-organic chemistry, medicinal and biological chemistry, structural biology, synthetic biology) and related sciences.
The theme of the 12th ISBOC symposium is Chemical Biology: Innovation for Better Healthcare with three subjects of discussion, and the programme included 8 Plenary Lectures, 36 Invited Lectures and 33 Oral Talks by invited experts across the globe as well as poster presentations.
