DESCRIPTION:The ISNA conference series offers a prestigious international forum to present and discuss new findings and exchange ideas on advanced synthesis\, structure-property relationship\, and applications of novel aromatic compounds. It was established in 1970 as the International Symposium on Nonbenzenoid Aromatic Compounds. DESCRIPTION:Since its inception in 1972\, the ICPOC conferences have been the leading international gatherings on physical organic chemistry and its applications. Traditionally\, physical organic chemistry relates molecular structure to chemical behavior\, by means of the study of structure\, reactivity\, mechanism\, and equilibrium in organic systems\, aiming at the quantitative\, molecular level understanding of their properties. While it is still the primary role of this core discipline\, nowadays\, physical organic chemistry has already evolved into a multidisciplinary field\, extending into materials\, energy\, biology sciences and so on. SUMMARY:25th Congress on Isoprenoids
DESCRIPTION:The 25th Congress on Isoprenoids\, originally scheduled for 2020 in Karaganda (Kazakhstan)\, and postponed because of the worldwide COVID19 outbreak\, will be held on 18-20 September 2024 in Naples\, Italy. \nThis Conference series\, started at the early 1960s\, is one of the longer-running scientific events focused on natural products. The main purposes of the Conferences on Isoprenoids throughout these sixty years have been to promote research in the isoprenoid field at the interface of chemistry\, biology\, and medicine\, with a great attention to industrial applications. The role of science is to contribute to the human progress and to overcome barriers. To this aim\, the Isoprenoid conferences facilitate the networking and cooperation between researchers from different countries and provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge among scientists at all career stages in a friendly environment. \nAll the previous Conferences in this series have been organized in Eastern Europe countries; thus\, this is the first time that Italy hosts this event. SUMMARY:XXII Mendeleev Congress on General and Applied Chemistry
DESCRIPTION:The 22nd Mendeleev Congress which will take place from October 7 to 12\, 2024 in Sochi (Federal Territory “Sirius”)\, will be one of the main events dedicated to the 190th anniversary of D.I. Mendeleev and the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The program will include plenary and section lectures\, poster presentations\, symposia and round-table discussions on main directions of chemistry\, chemical technology\, and chemical education. SUMMARY:Chemistry\, a lever for sustainable development of African countries
DESCRIPTION:Annual Days of Chemistry of Senegal & 9th FASC Congress (FASC|JACS 2024)\nSenegal will host the African Chemical Societies for the General Assembly of the Federation of African Societies of Chemistry (FASC). It will be held in conjunction with the Annual Days of Chemistry of Senegal (Journées Annuelles de Chimie du Sénégal – JACS)\, the major event of the Senegalese Committee for Chemistry (CSC)\, from 19 to 21 November 2024 at Radisson Blu Hotel\, Dakar Sea Plaza\, Corniche Ouest\, Dakar\, Senegal. The conference is themed “Chemistry\, a lever for sustainable development of African countries“. \n \nFASC|JACS 2024 will be jointly organized by CSC and FASC along with their partners among which are RSC\, ACS\, IUPAC\, OPCW and West African Society of Chemistry (SOACHIM/Senegal) and in collaboration with Senegalese universities. The aim of this conference is not only to bring together Africa’s scientific\, technological and industrial communities\, but also to rethink together a structurally sustainable development centered on mankind and its priority investments.
