SUMMARY:Congreso de Química Costa Rica
DESCRIPTION:The Congress of Chemistry Costa Rica aims to join academic and industry researchers\, together with governmental officials and the general public to share scientific information and promote international collaborations. \nThe main topic for the 2024 Congress is Climate Change\, and how chemistry can help to address these changes. The selected motto is “Chemistry: a solution for global changes”. This topic is very relevant at the present time\, and Costa Rican researchers have interesting works on biodiversity and climate change topics. SUMMARY:XXII Mendeleev Congress on General and Applied Chemistry
DESCRIPTION:The 22nd Mendeleev Congress which will take place from October 7 to 12\, 2024 in Sochi (Federal Territory “Sirius”)\, will be one of the main events dedicated to the 190th anniversary of D.I. Mendeleev and the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The program will include plenary and section lectures\, poster presentations\, symposia and round-table discussions on main directions of chemistry\, chemical technology\, and chemical education. A special emphasis will be put on chemical education and a special programme will be dedicated to young people – schoolchildren and students. \nMendeleev congresses are held at intervals of 4–5 years in the main scientific and cultural centers of Russia and determine the main directions for the development of chemical science and industry in our country. At the same time\, Mendeleev Congresses are important international scientific forums in the field of fundamental and applied chemistry. The topics of the congresses cover the main directions of development of chemical science\, technology and industry\, chemical education and interaction between business and science and industry\, which significantly differs from ordinary thematic scientific conferences. \n[read full invitation] \nContact:\nYulia Gorbunova – Full Member of RAS\, Doctor of Chemistry\, Professor\nA.N.
