IUPAC is the global community of chemists that promotes chemistry worldwide, and because of that we value and promote diversity and inclusion, which are at the centre of our vision, mission and core values, as embodied in our strategic plan. Jan 2022 update – In August 2021, the 51st Council of IUPAC approved the formation of a Standing Committee on Ethics, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (CEDEI). See <https://iupac.org/body/060>
Nov 2023 update – IUPAC approved a project to coordinate a special issue in Chemistry Teacher International presenting a number of good practices in the teaching of ethics and core values in chemistry.
